How to enable disabled Outlook Addins the easy way

This post outlines the process of enabling disabled Outlook Addins using Outlook Disabled Items applet.

Not long ago I posted the article “Outlook 2003 Out of Office Assistant Error: The command is not available. See the program documentation about how to use this extension” which discussed how to enable the disabled Outlook Addin (in this case the Out of Office addin) via the Registry.

Basically it was a matter of launching the Registry Editor (regedit) and crawling to find the entry to delete.
